Among those, we pay tribute to the 420 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice. We will be forever indebted to the 343 FDNY firefighters, 60 NYPD/PAPD police officers, 8 EMS workers, and the member of Fire Patrol 2 who gave their lives in serving to save others.
